Tours can range from 2.5 hours to 3.5 hours in length and can be designed to accommodate your schedule and physical abilities.Typically we will be walking between 1 and 2 miles at levels ranging from easy to moderate.
Our tours go into The Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GSMNP) and the neighboring areas of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, Wears Valley and Cosby.

The GSMNP is the most visited national park in the U.S. and has such a wide variety of lush vegetation that it’s a temperate rainforest, and it has been declared an International Biosphere!

Tours in The GSMNP require a Commercial Use Authorization Permit, which we have acquired, so when you purchase a tour with ‘Tours by Stella‘ you are supporting this incredible biosphere, while enjoying a fun and positive experience with nature, away from fast-paced, commercial attractions.

You may see and/or learn about:
– Animals / Wildlife
– Plants / Trees / Flowers
– Salamanders / Bears / Sasquatch
– Cascades / Streams
– Historic Pioneer Structures built in the 1800s
– Settler Life
– Native American History
… and more!
