The Gatlinburg Space Needle is an all steel observation tower served by two elevators with a capacity of 20 people.

Ride the glass elevator over 400 feet and step out to a breathtaking 360 degree view of the Great Smoky Mountains. The Smokies are best known as the home of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park which protects most of the forest. Mount LeConte is highly visible, which is the tallest mountain in the eastern United States. It rises 6,593 ft tall from its immediate base to its highest peak. The Space Needle observation deck provides the best view of this mountain and its surroundings.

View lush, green foliage in summer and foggy valleys in spring. The autumn leaves are vibrant with red, gold, and orange colors. If you brave the cold, you can witness the most beautiful of all, the snow covered Smokies. The Space Needle is the best place to admire the changing seasons.

The observation deck also provides a spectacular view of Gatlinburg’s downtown area from one end to the other. Enjoy the sights by day or Gatlinburg’s lights by night. Free SeeCoast viewfinders are available for a closer look.

The Space Needle is family owned and operated. This all steel observation tower is served by 2 elevators with a capacity of 20 persons each.  The deck can hold 250 people and offers views of the Great Smoky Mountains and the resort city of Gatlinburg. The tower is 407’ high with a total weight of 4,000,000 pounds and construction time was 380 days.
