The Gatlinburg Space Needle is an all steel observation tower served by two elevators with a capacity of 20 people.

Mount LeConte is highly visible, which is the tallest mountain in the eastern United States. It rises 6,593 ft tall from its immediate base to its highest peak. The Space Needle observation deck provides the best view of this mountain and its surroundings.

The deck can hold 250 people and offers views of the Great Smoky Mountains and the resort city of Gatlinburg. The tower is 407’ high with a total weight of 4,000,000 pounds and construction time was 380 days.
