LOCATED 10 MINUTES FROM BEARFOOT PARADISE and 25 MINUTES FROM BEARFOOT ADVENTURE
Do you want to have the time of your life? Something that you can tell your friends and family all about? Then visit us here at The Coaster at Goats on the Roof, in Pigeon Forge and experience the thrill of the best alpine coaster in Tennessee!
Zip around the woods at almost 30 miles per hour on our mile long track. Because you are in control of your speed, it is fun for young, old, and everyone in between. We offer a whole lot more than just a ride though…
As well as an awesome alpine coaster, we welcome you to get your hands dirty and feed the goats, try your luck with gem mining and taste the sweetness of our homemade ice-cream and fudge. Come on down to the Great Smoky Mountains and enjoy Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Coaster at Goats on the Roof! It truly is fun for the whole family.
WHAT IS GOATS ON THE ROOF?

It’s the goat-feeding-est, gem-mining-est, fudge-eating-est, ice-cream-licking-est, cool-gift-shopping-est attraction in Pigeon Forge!
We’re located right on Wears Valley Road, and we’re impossible to miss. After all, we’re the only Smoky Mountains attraction with live goats roaming around on the rooftop.
So stop in, get a can of goat chow and hop on our special “goat-cycle,” which lets you transport your can of goat feed up to the roof. And then get your cameras ready to click away as our hungry rooftop residents chow down on their favorite snack.
For a closer view, head up to the second level of our gift shop, where you can gaze out the windows at our bearded friends in air-conditioned comfort. Best of all, there’s no charge to come on in and watch.
GEM MINING

Looking for something fun and unique to do in the Great Smoky Mountains? At Goats on the Roof, our Pigeon Forge gem mine is a great way for the whole family to spend time together, share a few smiles and possibly uncover a very special souvenir of your vacation.
Get ready to do some prospecting like the old-timers did in the American West as you search for rare gems like rubies, sapphires and emeralds. It’s easy. You start with a bucket of gem-rich soil and then sift through it in our authentic, old-style water sluice. The moving current of water washes the soil away through your screened tray, possibly revealing the treasures that remain behind.
Our open-air attraction lets you enjoy cool breezes on warm days, but it’s also covered to protect you from the sun and the elements.
Of course, we’re the only gem mine in Pigeon Forge that also has live goats living on the roof of our family-friendly attraction. Feed the goats if you like, and then come inside to visit our well stocked gift shop. In addition to a wide array of Smoky Mountain-themed souvenirs, we offer a tasty selection of homemade ice cream flavors, fudges and other handcrafted confections.
Visit Goats on the Roof and take home a goat story of your own.
