Visit the Titanic Museum

February is Sweetheart Month at the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge. The museum celebrates love and romance all month long by honoring couples in special ways. It’s the perfect month to propose, or have your wedding or vow renewal right on the Grand Staircase. If you’re in town for Valentine’s Day, don’t miss the museum’s First Class Valentine’s Dinner! Couples can enjoy a romantic dinner in the Titanic’s “secret” dining room. There are different packages available that include things like a tour of the museum, being serenaded by a 100+ year old piano, or dining right on the Grand Staircase. The Titanic is the most romantic place to be in Pigeon Forge in February.

WinterFest

Appealing to skiers, snowboarders and ice skaters, the Gatlinburg ski resort provides fun for everyone. If you’re new to the slopes, don’t worry! Ober has qualified instructors who will have you feeling like a pro in no time. If skiing and snowboarding isn’t your thing, try snow tubing! The snow tubing lanes at Ober Gatlinburg are one of the most fun activities to enjoy in February. You can also go ice skating on their indoor rink, or try their Ice Bumper Cars attraction. There is so much winter fun to be had at this Gatlinburg attraction.

Hiking

Hiking in the Smoky Mountains is beautiful no matter what time of year you go. The perks of hitting the trails in February is you won’t have crowds as you would during the warmer months. Hikers should prepare appropriately for winter hiking, including wearing wind and water resident clothing that is also well-insulated to keep you warm.
