Rocky Top Adventures
The Polaris Slingshot is an exhilarating vehicle to drive in the scenic Smokies! Driving the slingshot is similar to driving a light weight open-top sports car except more fun! It is a two seat vehicle with a one cubic foot storage compartment behind each seat. The Slingshot is rear-wheel driven by a lightweight aluminum swing arm and carbon fiber reinforced belt.
With an impressive power to weight ratio of 1:10, the Slingshot is a blast to drive on the curvy mountain roads. All units have a bluetooth stereo so you can listen to music from your phone on the speakers in the vehicle and all except the red model have GPS.
There are six different color combinations to choose from at Rocky Top Adventures. The tours last from 2 hours all the way up to 7 day rentals.
- Age – Be sure to choose an outdoor adventure that allows everyone in your party to ride! While some companies require drivers to be 16 years of age, Jayell Ranch only asks that riders be at least 12 years old. Taking a UTV tour through Cades Cove with Mtn Trax? Drivers of these vehicles are required to be 21 with a valid driver’s license. So, if you are traveling with the whole family, you may want to consider an excursion everyone can be a part of. Don’t worry about missing out on any excitement, however, because Foxfire Mountain takes explorers as young as 3 years old on their 8-wheel Bear Crawler Adventure rides!
- Weight/Height – These requirements most often pertain to children since these rides tend to be bumpy and uneven. Our recommended ATV companies put safety first and want to ensure that the riders and drivers are in no danger of being thrown from the vehicle. If your child is smaller for their age, be sure they meet height and weight standards as well as the age requirements. When safety is priority, the fun is, too!
My Bearfoot Cabins is committed to creating your perfect Smoky Mountain vacation. We work hard so you can do what you came to do, make lasting memories.
